In just two weeks, the roadshow visited seven cities, from Vienna to Sylt, where the tour concluded during the Windsurf World Cup 2025. Our Expandable was fully branded in BRAX style and effortlessly transformed into a mobile pop up store. Visitors were welcomed into an atmospheric setting featuring a charming licorice cart that created an approachable and hospitable experience, comfortable lounge furniture that formed a relaxing oasis in the middle of the city, and a striking mirror room. This mirror room was a photobooth with four mirrored walls that became the ultimate eye catcher, both on site and on social media. By combining elegant aesthetics with interaction, the BRAX Roadshow captured attention at every location and strengthened the overall brand experience.    Creative omnichannel marketing in action What made this roadshow especially powerful was the smart connection between offline experience and online activation. BRAX introduced an exclusive discount campaign that could be used both in store and online. This made shopping more accessible and more fun, exactly what omnichannel marketing is all about. Next stop the exclusive tour offer When the tour came to your city, you could use the code BRAXTOUR2025 in all BRAX stores in that city. Customers enjoyed attractive benefits. Samsung Medical Equipment Tour:  From Trade Fair to Hospital Doorstep The Samsung Medical Equipment Tour demonstrates how a roadshow can elevate traditional event marketing and extend its impact far beyond the walls of a trade fair. IBC 2025 in Amsterdam RAI once again served as the international platform where the future of media and entertainment became visible. The event brought together creative professionals, technology experts, and business leaders from around the world who are shaping the digital transformation of the industry. EventRent presented three standout Mobile Units for NEP and BT Media and Broadcasting, that demonstrate how brands can enhance their brand experience at international trade shows and events. Mobile Studio: high-end broadcasts with a mobile studio The Mobile Studio is a fully custom-designed mobile studio that can be hydraulically raised 3.5 meters and features a camera deck. On the upper level, there is a 35 m² studio with air conditioning and RoscoVIEW polarized windows, an office with six workstations, a coordination room, and a makeup area. This unit is ideal for live broadcasts, interviews, and productions directly from the trade show floor. NEP successfully used the Mobile Studio at IBC for meetings and gatherings. Event Expandable 30ft: flexible mobile unit for any event The Expandable 30ft unit was present for NEP and offers approximately 45 m² of modern, flexible space that can be fully adapted to the client’s brand identity. With windows on all sides, advanced LED lighting, and integrated climate control, this mobile unit is ideal as a pop-up shop, conference room, or showroom, both indoors and outdoors. Its versatility allows it to host gatherings and create an open, inviting atmosphere through its glass walls. Mobile Showroom: exclusive brand experience for guests The Mobile Showroom is perfect for presenting products and brands and can accommodate up to 150 guests. It can also serve as a temporary meeting space, showroom, or training center. With programmable LED lighting, air conditioning, heating, a built-in refrigerator, and a VIP deck, this mobile showroom combines functionality with a premium brand experience. As BT Media & Broadcasting demonstrated, it is an ideal tool for showcasing products and innovations. Visitors were able to experience the two #IBCAccelerators demonstrated on the Mobile Showroom stand: Master Control Cloud and Ultra Low Latency Streaming at Scale. Come holiday season, there a few things you can guarantee will come back year after year: twinkling lights, evergreen trees, and 24/7 exposure to Christmas songs on the radio. Since 1995, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck and its respective tour have been added to that list. Over 20 years ago, the advertising agency W.B. Doner was entrusted by the Coca-Cola Company to create a memorable television advertisement, which featured illuminated trucks and iconic artwork by artist Haddon Sundblom. This image of Santa Claus, conceptualized in the 1930s, was so iconic that this grandfather-like, rosy-cheeked, jolly individual immediately became the new standard for Kris Kringle. With special effects by the world-famous Industrial Light and Magic (the company behind the Star Wars films), the trucks this illustration was featured on also became an instant classic. This television advertisement has proven so popular that in the UK, after a six-year absence in 2007, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck returned due to popular demand, as many consumers repeated that for them, seeing these trucks were synonymous with the beginning of Christmas. After the launch of this commercial, Coca-Cola took advantage of the popularity and status it had received and began touring around several areas of the world during the Christmas season. EventRent, with a fleet of 19 trucks, enables these trucks to spread Christmas cheer during the holidays. Beginning their trip at the end of November and continuing up until Christmas, these trucks have attracted thousands on thousands, if not millions of visitors over the years. In the year 2018, the first event in Moers managed to attract between two and three thousand visitors alone. Those lucky enough to visit the trucks are given a free Coke and encouraged to participate in the various services and activities, that change every year, mixing traditions such as getting to meet Santa, with technological innovation, such as experiencing riding in Santa’s sleigh through virtual reality video, in order to make this an immemorable experience. To bring this experience to another level, we sometimes resort to technology to make our Coca-Cola Christmas Truck even more magical. In December 2019, we added a new dimension: a VR sleigh. Using virtual reality combined with in-built hydraulics, visitors could climb into Santa’s sleigh, put on their VR glasses and feel as if they were flying along a winter wonderland. This sleigh could hold up to 20 people at once, making it a shared experience, fun for friends and family alike. This immersive experience allowed the young and old alike to feel like a child at Christmas-time. Coca-Cola succeeds every year in making “the Christmas tour an enchanting Christmas world for all senses”. This is evident in the way that children and adults alike get swept up in the magic of the Coca-Cola Christmas Trucks, with some even waiting until their arrival for them to carry out their marriage proposals. Taking advantage of the fact that the venue is a truck and that they can move to whichever city they please, over the years they have also encouraged competitions where visitors can choose where the next location of the truck will be. We’re also not immune to the infectious holiday cheer that the Coca-Cola Christmas Trucks bring with them. To introduce and promote Heineken Extra Cold beer at European summer festivals, we developed a cool experience concept: a ‘polar expedition’ to set up its base camp at hot event locations.  Thus, began the Heineken Extra Cold Tour, a promotional tour that went through 14 countries, such as Romania, Spain, Portugal, and Taiwan, and 31 different cities, assuring local people could get a taste of the product. In search of the coolest beer for the hottest location, visitors got to cool down their own beer glass; without an ice-cold glass, one cannot enjoy Heineken Extra Cold beer as it will warm up too fast. Coats and hats were provided to enter the ‘cooling down station’ (clocking in at a cool -8˚C) where visitors and their glasses were being chilled in 30 seconds. After this, they were welcomed in the Ice Bar where Heineken Extra Cold was being tapped into their cooled glass. Through a special door, visitors could take their Coolest Beer to the Hottest Location. Here, the special audiovisual effects helped create a completely different world compared to the outside. Heineken wanted to assure that those coming in the truck had a full sensory experience that emulated what it felt like to drink an Extra Cold Heineken. In order to assure that their consumers were wow-ed, they had several elements, the primordial being the aforementioned igloo experience. Other aspects of the show were the ice bar, which provided free samples, a live stage, and a lounging station complete with giant novelty ice cube chairs. These aspects created an all-around, impactful experience. Due to the roadshow, Heineken was able to fulfill 3 very essential aspects of their campaign: 1) creating a point of contact with their customers during a daunting financial period, 2) increasing said connection due to the flexibility that a roadshow solution provides, and lastly 3), in some countries, Heineken further confirmed its exclusivity and prestige by taking advantage of the limited space and ephemeral nature inherent in a roadshow. The first two points are interconnected. According to Informa BTL, beer sales from the previous year had gone down by 6% in Spain, making beer companies urge to push for more exposure in this country. Thus, these companies pushed for their events to encourage direct contact with their consumers to remind them of brand loyalty: if people were buying less, they should be buying from their brand. The roadshow, being mobile and striking due to its novelty in a world that is consistently pushing towards the digital, is the perfect solution to get in touch with as many consumers face-to-face as possible, creating a memorable experience. This was the solution for Heineken. Not only did they take advantage of the mobility and flexibility of the roadshow by using the website “extracoldexperience.es” to have their customers decide where the truck would go next, increasing interaction and engagement, but also by targeting countries such as Spain in which sales were lacking due to their brand being seen as premium and unattainable. Regardless, the roadshow managed to simultaneously make them more accessible to their target audience, and keep their label of prestige abroad. Lastly, an oft-forgotten, but very important quality to a roadshow is its “blink and you’ll miss it” quality, making it feel more exclusive than events done at a regular venue. The roadshow is a marketing solution that is both easily accessible, yet transitory. This creates the dichotomy of being approachable but also exclusive – a major benefit to a beer brand such as Heineken. Although beer is known for being the everyman’s drink, Heineken has carefully curated its image outside the Netherlands to be more high-end than some of its competitors. This solution managed to compromise both of these aspects and integrate them into part of the experience. The Marketing Director of Heineken Operation in the Czech Republic, Jiri Irmysek, further confirmed this sentiment by stating that “this is a unique presentation and introduction of Heineken’s premium beer innovation on our market. The limited access to the truck points to the uniqueness of the whole project and helps to perceive the premium in relation to the Heineken brand and beer”. Jiri Irmysek, summarized it so: “[The Heineken Extra Cold Experience] will generate new consumers who do not know this cold form of beer. The unrepeatable trend of the events will be presented by Heineken not only to new potential consumers, but also to constant consumers and fans of this beer”. Beginning in Dublin and ending in Rome at the HCE 2018 (Huawei Europe Innovation Day and Huawei Eco-Connect Europe), the Huawei 5G Demo Truck, a key component in the roll-out and promotion of 5G throughout Europe, has passed through 10 countries, 38 cities in Western Europe, and has had over 7.000 visitors. Throughout the months of April to November 2018, the Huawei 5G Demo Truck has been traveling around Western Europe, showcasing a real 5G use case, proving their slogan that “5G is now”. Its range of visitors has been vast – from employees of telecom operators to media, students of top technical universities, to even government representatives. Said visitors experienced the low-latency qualities of 5G first-hand, through the 5G Demo which EventRent aided in facilitating its development. The demo consisted of propelling a 360-degree video live-stream through the 5G network. This live-stream came from the perspective of a drone that was flown in the perimeters of the truck, meaning visitors could see themselves from a birds-eye view. Of the visitors, one of the students in Spain claimed that: ”The technologies and demos seen inside the truck are mesmerizing. It has been an amazing opportunity to get to know first-hand more about what Huawei is doing regarding 5G, the solution presentations are very interesting, and it has been a great experience.” This remark highlights the importance of the roadshow in bringing a true 5G experience straight to the customer, making the intangible, tangible. The importance of the Huawei 5G Demo Truck in aiding clients to understand the potential of 5G was also noted by Sure’s Chief Digital Officer, who stated that: “Everybody is talking about 5G technology and what it could mean for our digital futures, but not many people have had the opportunity to experience it so we’re excited to bring Huawei’s 5G exhibition truck to the island to enable local businesses, the government, customers and the public to get a better understanding of what the technology can do.” This statement was further echoed by Tony Graziano, Vice-President of Huawei’s Public Affairs and Communication Office in Brussels. He notes that “5G is setting in motion an unprecedented transformation process. This digital revolution is already happening all around us: 5G is now. With this roadshow, we would like to involve everyone in the process, give Europeans a good idea of what’s going to change”. Using a roadshow, with its flexibility in location, timing, and branding facilitates a point of physical contact between Huawei and its customers. This roadshow has enabled Huawei to translate digital touchpoints into a touching experience. Ultimately, the roadshow aided in informing customers in a way that is memorable in today’s onslaught of digital marketing. Shi Mao, CMO of Huawei West Europe has said that: “The Demo Truck bring Huawei’s latest 5G products and solutions to the public, increasing public awareness of 5G and trying to speed up 5G development in Europe. And the 5G roadshow has achieved good results in the past seven months. Huawei has invested heavily in 5G in West Europe, established three 5G R&D center in Germany, Italy and Sweden with hundreds of 5G experts, established six 5G joint innovation labs with operators. Huawei proactively participated in five EU 5G-PPP research projects and three 5G national pilot projects in UK and Italy, as well as the delivering of many pre-commercial sites for telcos, we started to prepare for the large-scale delivery of 5G in Europe.
