Cleaner Fuels: Natural Gas and Blue Diesel
Our commitment to sustainable roadshow solutions includes the use of cleaner fuels such as Natural Gas (Compressed Natural Gas) and Blue Diesel. Natural gas has been proven to be a cleaner, more environmentally friendly, and cost-effective alternative to traditional diesel or petrol. Vehicles powered by natural gas not only achieve better fuel efficiency but also emit significantly lower levels of harmful exhaust gases.
While natural gas remains a fossil fuel, it serves as a crucial stepping stone toward a greener future. Organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund and ANWB recognize natural gas as an essential transition fuel toward hydrogen-powered transportation. Its compatibility with hydrogen blending brings us one step closer to achieving fully hydrogen-powered roadshow vehicles.
In addition, several of our vehicles operate on Blue Diesel, a renewable HVO fuel derived from waste vegetable oils. This innovative fuel burns cleaner and contributes to an approximate 90% reduction in CO₂ emissions, significantly lowering our carbon footprint and enhancing our sustainable roadshow solutions.
Innovative Solar Energy Solutions for Sustainable Roadshows
EventRent has been harnessing the power of solar energy since 2010 as part of our sustainable roadshow solutions. Our trailers and roadshow vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art solar panels, enabling them to operate independently for at least 17 hours without reliance on external power sources or generators.
Our cutting-edge InfoWheels take it a step further—in sunny conditions, they can function autonomously for several days, thanks to their efficient solar power systems. Beyond our vehicles, sustainability extends to our offices, where 1,400 solar panels generate an impressive 1.5 megawatts of green energy on an average sunny day—comparable to the energy output of a wind turbine.
Electric Vehicles: Driving Towards Sustainable Roadshow Solutions
Our fleet has grown substantially to include 20 fully electric vehicles, featuring electric InfoWheels, the E-Promotor, Volvo electric trucks, and our latest addition, the ID. Buzz. These sustainable roadshow solutions cater to diverse event needs while actively reducing environmental impact across four key categories. With this expansion, we are taking meaningful strides towards achieving a zero-emission future.
